Small Groups
At the Abbotsford Vineyard we value relationship and community. Our “small groups” are a way of getting people connected and offer a place for relationship, accountability, support and prayer. There are many different groups and a variety of activities to get involved in including mountain biking, women’s groups, men’s hockey, bible studies, new-comers lunches, parenting classes just to name a few.
It is our desire that everyone at the Abbotsford Vineyard feel connected and that they be involved in some type of small group where they can experience encouragement and friendship.

Our focus is relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. We have fun together, pray together, eat together and learn about walking out our faith together. This home group meets 3 out of 4 weeks on Tuesday nights for dinner.

This is a group for young marrieds (married five years or less). We meet twice a month for dinner/dessert, prayer, teaching, fun and building relationship. Each couple takes turns hosting and leading the group. Come and join us!

Men's Breakfast - Howie Thiessen

The men at Abbotsford Vineyard meet for breakfast on the last Saturday of each month for a morning of building friendship and good food! We also plan on doing service and/or outreach projects after breakfast. Breakfast locations change every month. A group of Moms and Toddlers from Abbotsford Vineyard get together regularly for fun and activities! (Meeting times TBA) They do activities such as the Greater Vancouver Zoo, Swimming, etc during the summer, and have fun with crafts, decorations and special events during the winter - you are welcome to join in the fun! Mountain Biking - Kevin Boese

Any mildly hard-core mountain bikers are invited to get together for some rides, locally and beyond. This will most likely be a sporadic thing, so give me your email address and I'll let you know what we're up to. We may do a combination of Sunday afternoons at Ledgeview (Local), Saturday mornings and/or afternoons ad the Woodlot (past Mission), and even an overnight or weekend to Whistler! "Mildly hard-core" means that we're not doing Mill Lake paved trails or gravel trails, but rather mild to intense downhill and cross country riding. Helmets mandatory! We welcome men and women 16 years of age and older! All you need is a glove and an interest in softball. We have two baseball teams, the Vineyard Velocity (A Division) and the Vineyard Eagles (C Division). Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first time rookie, come out and join us - We've got a place for you!
