Free!Style Trailer

Free!Style is a new mobile community outreach store sponsored by the Abbotsford Vineyard

Our Free!Style Trailer is a store on wheels that houses brand new, high quality clothing that we give away to individuals and families who could really use it. We take the Free!Style trailer to different locations throughout Abbotsford and invite people to shop in our trailer and choose an outfit for FREE. We work alongside existing community services, such as the Food Bank, the Cyrus Center and treatment centers in the area. For us, the Free!Style experience goes well beyond providing a free outfit. We're out there to serve, build relationships, and share a message of hope—hope for belonging, hope for community, and hope for the future. The Abbotsford Vineyard runs the Alpha program in the local prison

Prison Ministry

We  currently offer the Alpha Program at Matsqui Institution (men's medium security prison) and Pacific Institution (women's medium security prison). We also help with Sunday morning chapel services at Matsqui Institution. Musicians, facilitators, and others who would like to interact with people are invited to join us. Home Makeover

We offer a home makeover for a family as opportunity arises. We reach out to a family in need whose home in real need of tender loving care. As a team, we spruce up their home inside and out: this usually includes painting, decorating, construction, landscaping, and upgrading dishes and furniture. The next Home Makeover will be Spring 2010 and we are looking for a project manager. Contact: Gary Stephens

We worship God with our lives

Cyrus Saturdays

We host evenings for the young people who hang out at the Cyrus Center on Saturday nights. Dinner is at 5 pm, Coffee House is at 6 pm, complete with music, sweet treats and hot drinks. For more information contact Cliff Prang.

Outreach as A Lifestyle

Of course you don't have to wait for one of our events to serve—look around your neighborhood, school, or workplace and ask God what you could do to serve the people there and show them the love of Jesus. However, we would love for everyone to join the AVC community outreach events - this is especially true if you'd like to get out into your community to show God's love, but don't know how to take the first step.If you are interested in the outreach projects or events above—or have an outreach idea on your heart—please get in touch.

Love your City

Abbotsford Vineyard was part of Love Abbotsford for several years and now spearheads Love Your City which helps other cities start their own Kindness Explosion events. We've had churches from all over the world contact us and we've had the privilege of helping them get their own events started. For more information watch our video or check out the LYC website.
