The Abbotsford Vineyard Mexico Missions Team is going to the Door of Faith Orphanage Dec 22-Jan 2. The orphanage is about one hour south of Tijuana, Mexico. While there we will be assisting the staff with the orphanage children (about 120), building a house, working with a local church doing outreach as well as finding ways to serve the poor in the community.

This is a missions opportunity for everyone, even those with young children. Strengthen your family bond and develop new relationships. A family mission trip is a great tool for parents to use to assist in building a mission mindset and worldview in the heart of their elementary kids to high school young people. This trip will change your life, help you build relationships and create memories that will last a lifetime, and beyond.

We need your help in PRAYING for:
1. A safe trip there and back (vehicles traveling over 5000 km...the rest of the team is on Amtrak).
2. Team unity (50 people just may not agree on everything, but we do want to end up loving each other more as a result of serving together)
3. Physical health. We want to be at our best so we can serve our best.
4. Discernment, wisdom and flexibility. That we would be used by the Lord to be a blessing to the orphanage kids and staff and the community.

We need your help in PAYING and PRAYING for:
1. Mercy funds- groceries & ministry to the neighboring poor $3000
2. Project funds- building a house and giving it away. $10,000
3. Program funds- crafts & gifts for orphans and staff $500
4. Team funds- each member is responsible for paying/raising the necessary funds to participate in the trip.
