One word woke me this morning: "HONOUR"
Greek: Timē
Two meanings:
In society, you pay a price for what you value.
1 JOHN 4:9-10: God proved His love by paying the highest price: His Son's blood. That's a great example of you pay for, reveals what you value.
PHIL. 2:3-4 Christ honoured us through sacrifice.
We honour each other the same way—by humbling ourselves and demonstrating each other's worth through whatever price we're willing to pay.
The takeaway:
Every human being's value has been purchased by Christ's blood, so we know how valuable each person is
