WHAT I DO
I work on the communication, social media, and some of the administration of AVC.
Gary Stephens. We have been married for 28 years.
Sarah and Mark and son-in-law Brad.
HOPE & VISION FOR AVC
That we would be a warm and welcoming place that demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus to each person that walks in the door and to each person we encounter in the community. That everyone who attends AVC would know the extravagance and depth of the Father’s love for them and that each of us would find our true identity in Him.
HOW I GOT INVOLVED WITH AVC
My husband and I started attending AVC in the fall of 2000. We knew on the very first visit that it was the church family for us. A few years later Gary was invited to be part of the staff and here we are today!
THE BEST PART OF MY JOB
Seeing people’s lives completely transformed and redeemed through an encounter with Jesus. Working with an amazing team of loving, passionate, creative, kingdom-minded, generous, fun (and a little crazy) people.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
Being outdoors, water, music, strong coffee, dark chocolate, hiking, biking, reading. Put all those together at one time and that’s a pretty amazing day!
THREE THINGS ON MY BUCKET LIST
Travel more of Europe, go on an African Safari, take in some shows on Broadway.
