Abbotsford Vineyard Church is a small, friendly church located in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.  We are a group of people that want to learn what it is to truly love God, each other, and the community around us.  We love our bookkeeper because this person helps us best use the money we've been given!  We've got a really flexible work style, but because we used to be a big church, we have some nice software and some sophisticated systems built up around finance.  You would be trained by people who've been doing the job for a decade.

So, we are looking for someone with strong integrity who is well-organized, has experience and/or aptitude for the financial operations of a church/business, and is willing to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• accounts payable/receivable
• payroll
• employee benefits
• bookkeeping
• financial updates
• you’ll support the finance committee in creating the annual budget

Excellent applicants will have experience with:

• payroll
• QuickBooks
• Excel (including work with macros)
• Outlook
• Government submissions for charities

It would great if you had experience with:

• Church management software
• CAFT
• Subsplash (donor side)
• Square

Hours:

• 12-20 hours/week
